**Friday March 2nd- Semi Finals pairings for Women & Men's 1a2a and 3a4a Individual State Championship

***Saturday March 3rd- Finals Set and begin at 615pm

GIRLS-The girls tournament began a day earlier than the boys but stopped wrestling until the semi finals to provide the same opportunity for the Saturday championship exposure as the boys. Jada Chaves attempts to become a 2x Maryland State Champion and was positioned to a showdown in the finals with Ally Conley, another state champion in the finals, but she was upset in the quarters. The biggest draw of the tournament is Nebi Tsarni (155lbs) who has won more Fargo National Titles than State titles. Nebi won Fargo twice and won Maryland States last year. She seeks her second state title, unfortunately losing 2021 season due to Montgomery County preventing any athlete participating in the MPSSAA State Championships.

Another to watch for is Lexy Labon at 125lbs, brother Lonnell who won a Maryland State title now wrestles Division 1.
